Today’s list features the most followed virtual event platforms on Twitter. During my research for this, I’ve found that far too many either don’t have a Twitter account or omit links to it on their website. Sadly, if they do include links, that and their other social media accounts are often listed in the footer and fairly small in size. A missed opportunity I fear.
The list is, of course, dominated by Cvent, with over 45,000 followers. Second place is On24 with 22,790 followers, third place is Conferize with 18,876 followers.
Virtual event platforms have been around for quite some time, as a technology it’s well established, tried and tested. However, the pandemic has encouraged existing platforms to adapt and gain further popularity while new platforms who saw an opportunity have matured quickly.
If there’s a platform that I’ve missed or you have an opinion about one I’ve mentioned, then please leave a comment.
