The European Mission Awards is a new award centred on the European business travel industry. It’s organised by the Italian publishing house Newsteca, which has specialised in the business travel and fleet management sector for over twenty years.
Newsteca publishes two magazines, Mission – The Business Travel Magazine (in Italian) and Mission Fleet (in Italian) covering company cars. The Mission awards are their first of their kind for Italy,
“The IMAs are the first corporate travel industry awards in Italy organised by a publisher. Now in their ninth edition, the awards are a competition and, most importantly, an opportunity to showcase major business travel operators and top travel managers, who are judged by an impartial panel of travel managers and industry press.”
Categories in the award include,
- Best Travel Sustainability and Inclusion Initiative of the Year
- Travel Team of the Year
- Best Travel Digital Transformation Initiative of the Year
The finalists will discover who has won at a 5 star hotel, The St Regis in Rome, on the 10th of October. The press release contains the full list of awards and if you wish to attend,
“The event will welcome the candidate international companies, the travel managers on the jury and the travel managers and travel teams competing in the ‘Best Travel Manager’ category, offering networking and entertainment opportunities. Reservations for companies and travel managers have been open on the EMA website since July where it is possible to book corporate seats and tables at the award ceremony.”
