With the huge amount of blog post URL’s that I have in my database, currently just over 51,000 entries, I thought it was time to ask some questions and see if there are any interesting answers. My first question is, which day is the most popular when it comes to publishing new blog content?
The Database
My database has the web addresses of posts from blogs that cover events, weddings, virtual event platforms and more (view the full list of categories). A good spread of the various sectors that are contained within the broad umbrella of the events industry. Each post recorded in the database includes the publishing date, as specified by the blog where that post comes from.
The Answer to the question
Which day is the most popular? The interesting answer to the question is, it’s actually more than one day. My analysis shows that it’s actually Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Lets take a look at the last three months, starting with April where 2,321 posts were discovered…

In March, there were 2,648 posts discovered…

| Saturday | 1.32% |
| Sunday | 2.53% |
Finally, February where 2,232 posts were discovered…
| Monday | 19.14% |
| Tuesday | 21.58% |
| Wednesday | 18.29% |
| Thursday | 20.84% |
| Friday | 15.55% |
| Saturday | 2.15% |
| Sunday | 2.47% |
I would guess that for any blog that publishes twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursday make sense.
