Startup Awards National Series Shortlists DMC Finder

The StartUp Awards National Series was launched to recognise the booming startup scene in the UK, which accelerated during the Covid pandemic. In 2020, when most of the world was coming to a standstill, over 400,000 startups were set up in Britain, with similar increases seen in other European countries.

Northampton based DMC Finder, founded by Jo Joshi, has been nominated for the StartUp Award. More than 2,500 applications were received for the first ever call for entries.

From DMC Finders press release…

“Jo Joshi, Founder of DMCFinder said: We are delighted to be nominated for this award. For the last 18 months we have worked extremely hard and diligently to get the DMC Finder brand out in the marketplace.”

Also from the press release, a little more about the awards…

“Supported nationally by BT, EY, Dell & Intel, the awards programme will celebrate the achievements of the amazing individuals across the UK who have turned an idea into an opportunity and taken the risk to launch a new product or service.”

The aim of the DMC Finders platform is to support DMC’s, Venues and Tour Operators back on the Fast Track road to recovery. This is accomplished by connecting them to event organisers around the world on a single platform. It’s easy to use, innovative and dynamic for both the event organisers and suppliers.
